Christy Lynne Seving is a mixed media artist based in the Denver area, where she has been an active part of the arts community for over 15 years. Working primarily in cold wax, oil ,encaustic oil and ink. Her practice is rooted in an intuitive, process-driven approach.
Her work develops without a fixed plan, allowing forms, textures, and structures to emerge through layering, disruption, and reworking. Moving between painting and dimensional work, she explores the tension between control and unpredictability, construction and unraveling.
Her abstract compositions invite open interpretation, leaving space for viewers to find their own meaning within the work. She has exhibited throughout the Denver area and is currently a member of Valkarie Gallery in Lakewood, Colorado.
